# F-gas baseline extraction methodology

## Transformations
- HFC-134a import values in metric tonnes were converted to kilograms.
- CO2-equivalent emissions were calculated as `annual_consumption_kg * GWP`; GWP100 = 1,430 (IPCC AR4 / 2006 IPCC Guidelines basis).
- HFC mixtures (R-410A, R-407C, etc.) were not converted to CO2e because the exact blend composition and GWPs were not stated in the inventory.

## Validation
- Consumption figures align with Table ES 3.1b (adjusted for 2010).
- HFC-134a was the only pure HFC imported according to the inventory.
